2.1 Transport To Desaru From Singapore
Unless you are traveling as a couple, spending long hours on the road may not be the ideal way to plan your trip.
It is important to note that options for direct transportation from Singapore to Desaru are limited, especially if you do not have a car.
The modes of transportation available are direct ferry, private car or bus.
As you have only a limited weekend to fully enjoy your trip, choose a mode of transport that saves you time!
Suggestion: Book A Direct MPV Travel Transport from your doorstep to Desaru Resort! It is affordable!

2.2 How Many Days To Stay in Desaru
For the best experience, we strongly suggest opting for a longer trip to Desaru. Instead of a 2D1N trip, extend it to 3D2N or 4D3N to fully enjoy the destination.
The reason is that check-ins on the first day and check-outs on the second day limit the time that you have to participate in the activities at the Desaru Water Theme Park.
2.3 Weekend or Weekday
If possible, we highly recommend your trip to Desaru be on the weekdays!
It is known that most hotels offer lower rates for stays from Tuesdays to Thursdays.
Do not be surprised to see room rates double for resorts such as Hard Rock Desaru, Anantara Desaru Coast Resort, Desaru One & Only, and Desaru Westin Resort on weekends or during the holiday season.
Make the most of your money as you enjoy the same hotel room and facilities at a significantly lower price in comparison to the weekends!

Drive around and explore the surroundings in the Desaru Coast area.
Make your way to Desaru Public Beach for a fun picnic time. The beach is within walking distance from The Westin Resort Desaru Coast!
Pack your luggage and head over to the reception to check out latest by 12:00pm.
Head over to town for some affordable and delicious local Malay food at Ayam Penyet Z&Z.

Traveling around Desaru maybe inconvenient if you don’t have your own transportation.
While Hard Rock Desaru Coast does provide a free shuttle bus, keep in mind that the coverage area is limited. Hence, it may restrict your going around.
6.2 Hard Rock Desaru Nearby Food
Having your own transportation would mean that you can explore the nearby local town, Bandar Penawar for food.
All you need to do is turn on your Google Maps to explore the many options around you.
If you do not have your own transport, fret not as nearby restaurants or the eateries within the hotel itself will suffice.
