Option 3: Taking A Bus From Singapore To Els Club Desaru (via JB Sentral)
You need to have a lot of time on your hands because the journey of taking a bus from Singapore to Els Club Desaru can be very time-consuming!
Since you need to take up to 2 buses, the journey will be long. In fact, longest among the other 3 transport options!
But despite the long journey, it’s the cheapest option.
This is the bus route: Singapore -> JB Sentral Bus Terminal -> Desaru Coast Riverside -> The Els Club Desaru

Step 1: Heading From Singapore to JB Sentral Bus Terminal
You will need to take the Causeway Link Bus which takes around 30 minutes to 1 hour to reach JB Sentral Bus Terminal depends on traffic conditions at Johor Singapore Causeway.
Step 2: Heading From JB Sentral Bus Terminal to Desaru Coast
Ride the Causeway Link bus when you’ve reached JB Sentral Bus Terminal.
The ticket price is about RM49 and it will take 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach Desaru Coast Riverside via the Senai-Desaru expressway.

Step 3: Heading From The Els Club Desaru to Desaru Coast Riverside
When you reach Desaru Coast Riverside, take either grab car or taxi to get to Desaru Coast.
Taking a bus from Singapore to Els Club Desaru will take around 3 hours in total.
But, I’m NOT RECOMMEND to take bus from Singapore to The Els Club Desaru because it’s hard to get taxi or grab car from Desaru Coast Riverside to The Els Club Desaru.
You will also have to expect a delay because there might be unexpected heavy traffic throughout the journey.
But if you have a flexible schedule, you can afford to spare the time.
Option 4: Driving By Yourself From Singapore to Els Club Desaru
Want to have full control of your time? Then we recommend you drive by yourself from Singapore to Els Club Desaru!

You can choose your preferred route among these 3 options:
4.1 Route 1 (via Senai-Desaru Highway)
Take SLE from Upper Thomson Rd. Then, go to BKE and Lebuhraya EDL/AH2/E14 (heading to JB East Coast Pkwy/Route 35.)
Exit through 1403A-Bakar Batu. Follow along the road to Senai-Desaru Highway/E22 and continue until you reach Bandar Penawar. After that, drive to Route 90 that’ll eventually bring you to Jalan Desaru.
Total Travelling Time: 1 hour 45 minutes
Total Distance: 87.4km
4.2 Route 2 (via Federal Route 3/AH18 & Senai-Desaru Highway)
Take SLE from Upper Thomson Rd. Take AH2 (heading to Jalan Pandan/Laluan Persekutuan 3/Route 3/AH18).
Exit through 1404B-Pandan and continue to Senai-Desaru Highway/E22. Drive towards Route 90 heading to Jalan Desaru.
Total Travelling Time: 2 hours 15 minutes
Total Distance: 93.7km
4.3 Route 3 (via Federal Route 3/AH18 & Kota Tinggi-Pengerang/Route 92)
Go to Windsor Park Rd (heading to Upper Thomson Rd). Take AH2, Federal Route 3/AH18 and Kota Tinggi – Pengerang/Route 92 (heading to Jalan Desaru).
When you see the roundabout, drive straight towards Jalan Desaru.
Total Travelling Time: 2 hours and 35 minutes
Total Distance: 106km
